In which young Ishar graces us with her presence.  The four faces in the middle are Ishar as a kid – the rest were me trying to work out something consistent for her adult face.  The one on lined paper was the first of these – at the time I remember calling it the “delicate Ishar face”.  I liked the way she looked, and I was trying to see what exactly made that face tick – it’s the eyes, of course, more than the shape of the face, but she’d never really had those sort of tilted eyes before so I was trying to translate it into something with eyes closer to her old ones.  I also ended up doing a little bit of body design work on her at the bottom of the page.  Her shoulders still aren’t quite as wide here as they ought to be, but this is the point where she acquired a more muscular frame.
